About Stephanie

I am deeply passionate about spreading trauma awareness and helping others discover the "why" behind behavior. With extensive experience in trauma intervention and a background in nonprofit work, I have trained hundreds in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), fostering deep connections and attunement in the context of any relationship.

I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from Colorado Christian University, and in 2015 I specialized in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) through the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University. My passion lies in transforming the dialogue from "What's wrong with you?" to "What happened to you?"

What People Are Saying

"Thank you, Stephanie—you really got my wheels turning thinking about past children I've advocated for and the ones I'm currently representing. This training helped me refocus and remember that my number one job is looking out for the child and their well being, and helping the other grown-ups in their life do the same. I'm so glad you came to talk to the advocates and I hope we hear more from you in the future."

— CASA Advocate

"It has been one of my favorite trainings as I love learning and then getting to talk it out as that helps to make it practical in day to day life."

— Training Participant

"You did great!! I loved all of the content and how engaging it was. You thought through and planned the training well!"
